1850 Census/Charles B. Anderson.
Taken in Morristown, Hanover Township, in the county of
Shelby, in the State of Indiana, on the 2nd day of Aug. 1850.
(can't make out the name of who took the census. It looks
kinda like E.F. Magh??? I can't make out the rst of the
letters at all, not sure of those.)
The first family on it is:
Chs B. Anderson age -54 Male Occupation for male over 15- Farmer
Value of real estate owned- 1800
place of Birth- Penn
there is also a column that says something about persons over
20 years of age, and there is a mark in this column.
Martha-51-Female-Born Md- and there is a mark in the column
about over 20 years of age.
Charles C.-18-Male- Ditto mark for occupation (farmer)-Born Ohio-
and a mark in the column for attended school within the year.
John-16-Male-ditto marks for Farmer and Ohio-and a mark for
school within the year.
Harvey W.-14-Male-Ditto marks for Ohio and a mark for school
within the year
Wm H.-9-Male-Ditto marks for OHio, and a mark for school within
the year
also, census images for Charlotte Dennis, who would have been the
oldest child of Charles B. and 2 daughters with the last name of
Mooney, or possibly Moony, can't tell if there is an "E" or not.
There is also the image for James H. Anderson and his wife and a
couple of the kids, and may have found the one for George M. but
I am not sure if it is the right one.
