- Jakob Schnorf owned land in Fountain County Indiana. Jakob and his wife, Mary Kinder Schnorf also had a 400
acre farm near the Monongahela River near Vestaburg and Fredericktown located near a creek called Fish Pot Run;
1 1/2 miles south of Beallsville; just south of U.S. 40. James A. Glover reported Jacob and Mary spent the majority
of their lives and are buried in Warren County Ohio on land they received from the government. Jacob and Mary Kinder's
daughter, Mary Elizabeth married our James, parents of our Charles B and his siblings.
- James's daughter, Mary A. Anderson was born on Jan 20 1805 in, probably in Warren, Ohio. While Elizabeth, Mary's
older sister was born on December 25 1799 in Washington County, Pennsylvania. From this we can theorize that the
Anderson's migrated from Pennsylvania to Ohio occurred between 1799 and 1805.
- Charles B, James son, migrated from Ohio to Indiana. The dates are not as clear. William Henry Harrison Charles
B's youngest son, was born on July 27 1841 in Ohio. Charles and his family then appear on the census in 1850 in
Shelby County Indiana. From this we can theorize that the Charles and his siblings migrated from Ohio to Indiana
between 1841 and 1850.
